On the Grounds

"Zo, vhat iz it like here at Hogwartz?" he questioned.

"It's almost like any other school. Lots of students either trouble-making or good, teachers either strict or easy, and magical wise, still a few problems here and there. One of the newest things I've heard was something about death eaters I believe. But that was a while ago. I haven't heard a lot since."

Jaci tapped her fingers on her spell journal. Of course she had been still long enough that her fingers had to fidget. (SP?)

"I zee. I vent to Durnstrom & you probably heard of vhat they do over there" he said.

Jaci took a second to think about some of the things she's heard of about Durnstrom.

"Every now and then I here a few things about them. So you're transferring your teaching career then?"

"No no no, I learned over there. I vould've of gotten a job at the Miniztry Of Magic, but they hate vampirez & not only that, I zuffer from Multiple Perzonality Dizorder. Zo if I ztart to talking to myzelf, I am zpeaking to my other perzonalitiez. I hope you aren't freaked out by me now" he said.

Jaci couldn't help but smile again. She shook her head.

"No, not at all. I find it more.... interesting. Sorry if that's not the right word. That's all I could think of."

Jaci shrugged as she felt a bit embarressed saying it out loud. It sounded better in my head.

To ease her nerves, Vincent merely smiled. "It iz okay, you don't need to feel embarrazzed about vhat you zaid.It iz actually the nicezt thing zomeone zaid about my Dizorder" he said.

Jaci looked up at Vincent with a surprised and releaved expression. A small smile grew on her face again.

"Oh well I'm glad I said the right thing then."

Vincent smiled at her & chuckled.

Jaci chuckled too. For now, no other questions have filled her mind yet. So she stares out at the feild as her finger tapped on her spell journal more.

Vincent just stares up at the sky.

The cool wind interupted the silence between them. The leaves rustled and the grass stirred around. Jaci looked around to think of something else to talk about. Vincent's two snakes and bat friends were still by him.

"So.... how did you meet your friends?"

Vincent smiled at her. "Vell, it iz a very interezting ztory. I grew up with young Dracula here. I bought the egg for young Conztrictor & I zaved Bazil from being killed. We have been cloze ever zince" he said.

"Oh wow. That is interesting. So they grew to trust you and everything."

Jaci looked at his friends again then brought her attention back up to Vincent. The cool breeze passed over them now and everything was still again. She looked out at where the grounds descended down a rocky hill.

He smiled at her & decided to ask her a question. "I vaz vondering zomething. Are you zingle or are you vith zomebody?" he asked suddenly.

Jaci was taken by surprise by that question. For a second she didn't know what to say, but she answered his question.

"Uh no I'm not with anybody. I've been so busy lately, I never take the time to really think about that."

His smile widened. "Vell, vould you go out zometime?" he questioned.

Jaci took another second to think about what she would say.

"You mean like a date?"

"I vould prefer to uze the term romantic outing but yez" he said.

Jaci felt her face turning a little red. She ignored the fact and nodded her head.

"Sure, that sounds nice."

Vincent smiled at her. "Excellent. Zo, vhich veekend vould be bezt to go on our romantic outing?" he questioned.

Jaci went through her jacket pocket to take out her schedule book. She looked through the next few weeks for an opening.

"Um.... I don't have a lot for this weekend. Just basic grading and that's it."

"Zame vith me" he said.

Jaci gave a smile.

"Ok then this weekend. What are the plans for it?"

"hello" greeted Direj in a comical tone "fine day?" he questioned to the both of them
